DC Jazz Festival Announces Tickets On Sale for DC JazzFest at The Hamilton Live, presented by The Washington Post
Maceo Parker, Regina Carter, Kurt Elling, Harold Mabern Among Stellar Lineup of Artists Who Will Perform in the Nation’s Capital, June 10-19
The Festival will welcome a diverse selection of emerging and master-level talent across the District June 10-19 – with 90+ bands and 300 artists at 60+ venues including Yards Park, The Kennedy Center, The Hamilton Live, Sixth & I Historic Synagogue, area clubs and restaurants, and National Parks venues.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – March 14, 2016 — The fastest growing jazz festival in the United States, the DC Jazz Festival® (DC JazzFest), announced that tickets go on sale today for DC JazzFest at The Hamilton Live presented by The Washington Post. In addition, tickets are now live for saxophonist-composer-bandleader-conceptualist Steve Coleman and Five Elements at Sixth & I Historic Synagogue on June 14, and for Events DC Presents: DC JazzFest at TheYards.
DC JazzFest at The Hamilton Live presented by The Washington Post features eight eclectic nights of electrifying performances from acclaimed artists such as funk and soul jazz saxophonist Maceo Parker; “master of improvisational jazz violin” and MacArthur genius grant recipient Regina Carter; Grammy-winning vocalist, composer and lyricist Kurt Elling; post-bop pianist and composer Harold Mabern with one of the great tenor saxophonists of our time Eric Alexander; prolific trombone & shells master Steve Turre, most well-known as a member of The Saturday Night Live Band for over 30 years; Grammy-nominated organist, trumpeter and vocalist Joey DeFrancisco, genre-busting, multi-instrumentalist and two-time Grammy winner (with Snarky Puppy) Cory Henry, and the Caribbean rhythms of trumpeter Etienne Charles (Trinidad) and Jamaican ska, reggae and jazz guitar pioneer Ernest Ranglin.
