Co-Founded The Oakland Film Society which Presents The Oakland International Film Festival.
Born in San Francisco, raised in The Peninsula.
Graduated from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA.
Taught in East Palo Alto, East Oakland’s Castlemont High School and West Oakland’s McClymonds high school. Directed The Business Academy at McClymonds and taught Student Government and Leadership.
Co-directed The West Oakland Food Collaborative.

Recipient of: The KPFA Peace Awards, ABC Channel 7’s -Profile of Excellence, Morehouse College Alumni Association’s Community Service Award.
